What an incredible day at the Lebanon Downtown Optimist Club meeting! We not only celebrated our designation as an Honor Club for the past year but were also privileged to host Mayor Jared Carr and City Administrator Mike Schumacher for the annual State of the City update. Thank you to all the members who came out, shared insightful questions. Your enthusiasm and commitment are what make our community stand out.

BLOCK FUND receives donation from First State Community Bank

First State Community Bank donated $1,000 to the Downtown Lebanon Optimist BLOCK Fund from the Charity Golf Classic fundraiser. Our club uses BLOCK Fund dollars to fund grants that benefit area youth. December 11, 2023 - Steve Kueny's pumpkin adventure

We were graced by Steve Kueny, a competitive Lebanon pumpkin farmer who has taken pumpkin growing to a whole new level – or should we say, a new river? Steve recently completed a record-breaking journey, paddling 39.17 miles in his 1,280-pound pumpkin, Huckle Berry! His tale isn’t just about setting records; it’s about dedication, passion, and loving what you do.
